COVID-19 - Update

Update #2: Bridle Vehicle Leasing remains open and functional. In line with the recent Government directives and for the safety and security of our colleagues and clients, Bridle Group and its associated trading styles have closed their offices, so staff are now working remotely. As a forward-thinking organisation we have already invested heavily in our IT and communications systems, and with most of our colleagues having already practised working from a home environment, we believe disruption to the service we provide you our valued clients will be minimal. However, can we take this opportunity to apologise to those of you who were looking forward to receiving your new vehicles today or the coming weeks, as sadly all non-critical movements have been cancelled and resource reallocated to those services in more need. Our teams remain at your disposal and we will endeavour to make your journey - whatever the requirement - as seamless as possible. Your normal telephone contacts, our emails and our recently launched mobile app remain active. If you are one of our ‘key worker’ clients, services such as roadside recovery, repairs and replacement tyres again remain available, although we would stress this is very much limited by location and availability. The Bridle Group Directors and all our employees would like to take this opportunity to thank you for choosing us to support your mobility needs and wish you the very best during these difficult times. We look forward to assisting you in the coming weeks and beyond.   _______________________________________________________________   Whilst we are facing these challenging times, the Bridle Group are committed to protecting the wellbeing and health and safety of our employees, partners, and of course our customers. Like all businesses, we are closely monitoring the developing situation of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and we wanted to give you an update on the actions we are taking in response and reassure you of the steps we will take to minimize any potential impact to our services to you. We are trying to ensure business as usual where possible and for now our operating hours will remain unchanged during this period and we will continue to provide the advice, support and assistance to our customers as you would expect. However, should the need arise, the Bridle Group fully embraces flexible and remote working and can operate remotely and should you need to speak to a member of staff, the telephone numbers you already use will be directed to staff in remote locations and service will not be disrupted. We continuously test this as part of our business continuity planning. The ongoing situation may lead to some operational issues with delivery times slipping past their original booked dates or dates being sporadic in nature. Due to the Government advice given on Monday 16th March 2020 and the additional measures being taken by delivery companies, over the coming weeks this will no doubt lead to a reduction in the volume of drivers available at dealerships due to the self-isolation advice. To manage expectations, we are advising that delivery dates will be accepted by dealers on a best endeavour and not a guarantee as the driver availability situation is dynamic and could change daily. Dealers will endeavour to deliver on the date provided but please accept that the situation is unprecedented and outside of anyone’s control. We pride ourselves on the level of service we provide to our customer and clients and believe that informing you of the situation now will allow you to manage expectations with your customers too. In the case that our supply chain is impacted, we will endeavour to minimise disruption and are well placed to manage this and offer alternative supply through our network. To minimise the risk of infection as far as possible, we have been following all guidelines issued by Public Health England on hygiene and personal precautions and regularly updating all employees. This includes guidance on travel restrictions, what to do for people returning from a risk area or if someone is developing symptoms similar to COVID-19. We will continue to keep you apprised of the actions we’re taking in the current situation. Throughout the challenges of the forthcoming weeks and months, everyone at the Bridle Group will continue to work as hard as we possibly can to keep progressing, keep innovating and return to the office even stronger.   Thank you for your continued support – stay safe.
