Suppliers across the nation will begin to reopen parts of their businesses whilst following and maintaining the guidelines set out by Public Health England.
Suppliers across the nation will begin to reopen parts of their businesses whilst following and maintaining the guidelines set out by Public Health England. For some, this means opening the sales operation of their business, whilst others will be able to offer vehicle collections and deliveries.
This will all be conducted under strict rules to ensure the safety of both customers and staff. Some examples of the practises that will be followed are listed below.
Social Distancing Measures.
Suppliers will be taking necessary measures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of both customers and colleagues. Strict social distancing rules will be implemented as well as other preventive measures to ensure this.
Many sites will, where possible, have markings added to make sure 2 metres distance is kept between colleagues and customers. New cleaning procedures will likely be implemented, and policies to ensure that no contact is made between staff and customers will also be introduced.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
In order to maintain everyone's safety, some suppliers will provide hand santiser at key locations within the building, whilst also providing all members of staff with appropriate PPE.
Hand sanitiser stations will likely be set up near the entrance and exit of the building for use by staff and customers.

It is likely that you will need to make an appointment prior to taking your vehicle in, to minimise your time in the centre.
Every vehicle will likely be thoroughly cleaned once it arrives at the centre, as well as when it is due to leave. This will include all major touch points that will be used when operating the vehicle.

It might be worth thinking about getting key areas of your vehicle professionally cleaned. Many suppliers will offer services to get features such as the air conditioning system and the interior thoroughly sterilised, removing any contaminants.
